overhead doors forum

I have a 00 Mustang and my overhead map light will not turn off.

The doors are closed and its on, l turn it off and the open door bells

starts going off even when the doors are close. Is there a sensor

somewhere on the door that l have not seen? Its done this once before but

they are called door pins. they are attached to the door latch

on the inside of the door. try lubing them with some WD40 or penitrating

oil. just spray it into the door latch in the door jam. open & close the

doors. 99% of the time they are just sticking. if that doesn't fix it you
